Thenji is an admitted UK employment solicitor who has been based in the UAE for 15 years working predominantly on contentious and non-contentious employment matters within local and international firms.
Thenji is a ranked lawyer in Chambers and Partners with over fifteen years' experience working in employment and immigration law advising private clients and blue chip, multinational, regional, local from all industry sectors.
Thenji advises on complex employment issues which include global mobility of employees, workplace investigations, cross-jurisdictional matters including temporary assignment, secondment, cross border engagements.
Thenji works closely with the employment local litigation counsel to file employment claims at the Dubai Courts via the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and she is a legal practitioner registered with the DIFC Courts.
Thenji is a visiting employment law lecturer at the University of Middlesex (Dubai) and an active volunteer lawyer within various pro-bono clinics, which includes the DIFC Pro-bono clinic and the DMCC Free Zone Mediation Centre clinic.
