Thaís Cunha practiced law as a litigation lawyer at the family, labor and civil court in Brazil and worked as a mediator at the family and domestic violence court. After completing her specialisation in Public Law and Human Rights Law in 2010, she joined her former university as a professor, teaching Brazilian constitutional law, human rights, ethics and consumer law. During this time, she also assisted her hometown municipality as a legal advisor.

Thaís studied law at Iguaçu University and earned a post-graduate credential in public and constitutional law in Cândido Mendes University of Law Studies in Brazil. In 2017 she joined Aurifer and has been assisting business in the GCC with the implementation of VAT.

Thaís is a dynamic learner and a natural born problem solver, always looking for the most efficient solution to a given challenge. Since 2014 she developed a personal project as a writer, researching and learning about the culture and traditions in the region to provide the global Portuguese speaker community with useful information about life in the Middle East.
