Taimur is a partner at Clyde & Co and, apart from his Middle East and Africa focused work, leads our global Pakistan practice. He is also a part of the firm's global public international law, corporate and energy practice groups and the Belt and Road Initiative (with a special focus on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor).

He regularly advises governments, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, listed companies and Fortune 500 companies on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters including arbitration, litigation and mediation mandates, government concessions, infrastructure projects, conventional and Islamic Finance transactions, corporate governance and capital market matters, M&A and joint ventures in countries across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Taimur was a partner at a large US law firm and previously served as the regional head of the legal department of Vale, one of the world's largest metals and mining group, with responsibility for legal matters relating to multi-billion dollar projects in Oman and Malaysia and exploration and business development activities across Middle East and West Asia.
