Sherif has over a decade of experience as a corporate and international finance lawyer in the United Kingdom and the GCC region. His career has been spent in private practice, where he advised on numerous multi-million Dollar regional and cross border transactions, including a year and a half seconded to Kuwait Finance House. He has a true passion for Islamic finance and continues to work on and further Sharia-compliant finance and its usage in the UK.

Sherif has worked at some of the world's largest law firms, including London based silver circle firm Ashurst, and Washington based giant Jones Day. He has worked on numerous Islamic finance transactions for Governments, central banks, Islamic banks, conventional banks, investment funds and HNW investors. Sherif has his own law firm in the United Kingdom handling a range of UK law matters as well as cross border transactions.
