She is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, and as a member of the IT Law Commission, she leads the studies of the Artificial Intelligence Working Group.
She is also a member of the Turkey Informatics Association (TBD).
Selin Çetin works especially on Data Protection/Privacy, E-Commerce Law, Information Technology Law and Contracts Law at SRP-Legal Law Office.
During her law education, Çetin completed an internship programme on Corporate Law in Cologne (Germany) within the scope of the Erasmus Internship Program. In her legal internship, she worked worked on provided legal services on Internet Law, Data Protection / Privacy, E-Commerce Law, Business Law and Contracts Law in law offices where she worked, and attended many academic certificate programs. Before joining SRP-Legal Team, Att. Çetin conducted compliance projects within the scope of Turkish Personal Data Protection Legislation as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for national and multinational corporate companies.
Çetin completed her master’s degree by defending the thesis entitled “Electronic Contracts Concluded via Bots”. She gives lectures on Law and Artificial Intelligence at Özyeğin University and Bahçeşehir University.
