Ruqayyah is a qualified banking and finance and corporate - commercial lawyer who advises on corporate, commercial, and banking (including Islamic finance) and capital market matters. Ruqayyah has assisted clients with drafting and reviewing of their commercial arrangements including liquidation, mergers, acquisition and corporate compliance and advising them on employment and tenancy law matters. In addition, Ruqayyah has advised Islamic banks and windows on their Shariah-compliant products (including development of such products for use in the market). She also assists on litigation matters before the Primary Courts of Oman and the Public Prosecution, where she has appeared in court hearings for civil, criminal, and commercial litigation matters on behalf of the clients.
