Rula is a bilingual (Arabic and English) Kuwaiti lawyer and principal founder of HFW's Kuwait office. Rula was also the Managing Partner of HFW's Dubai office and leads the corporate, projects and finance offering in the Middle East. Rula specialises in transactional corporate and commercial law. Her practice spans joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and project, infrastructure and strategic finance. She provides advice to companies wanting to invest in and/or expand their existing businesses in the Middle East and has advised a number of international companies in connection with their regulatory and licensing issues in Kuwait and the wider GCC. Rula is qualified in England and Wales and is member of the Kuwait Bar Association. She was the only female lawyer listed in the Arabian Business, Legal Eagle February 2018.
