Rafael is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Lawyering Skills Program at Qatar University College of Law, and an Affiliate Member of the Centre for Law and Development.
In his prior teaching appointment, Dr. Brown was Assistant Director of Academic Support at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law's LL.M in U.S. and Global Legal Studies Program, where Dr. Brown taught legal research, writing and analysis to foreign trained lawyers from over 60 different countries in a span of over nine years. He was also Adjunct Professor of Law for four years teaching U.S. Evidence Law. Additionally, he co-taught the Foreign Graduate Seminar and Doing Business in the U.S. Rafael was also the Director of the Summer Language and Law Institute at Case Western Reserve University School of Law for over ten years.
He has been a presenter at the Global Legal Skills Conference in Chicago, Illinois; and at the Legal Writing Institute Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
