Omar Khodeir is a Senior Associate in the Litigation Department of Al Tamimi DIFC Office. He is a qualified lawyer in Egypt with an LL.M Degree from Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Indiana University. Omar works closely with other Tamimi departments on different matters including employment disputes, financial crimes, arbitration, TMT and IP. He represents the firm’s clients in different civil and criminal litigation cases before the UAE courts, including the summary, local and federal courts. He also advises and represents major clients in many criminal proceedings, involving cybercrimes, fraud, breach of trust, insults and defamation, threatening others, bribery, bounced cheques, embezzlement of public funds, disclosure of secrets, theft, being under the influence of alcohol and sexual assaults.
Prior to joining Al Tamimi in 2010, Omar worked in a leading Law Firm in Egypt (Zaki Hashem & Partners) exposing him to general corporate matters. Following that, he was appointed by the Ministry of Justice in Egypt to become a Public Prosecutor where he gained a considerable experience in criminal matters.
