Nora joined Thebes Consultancy since its inception and she provides investment advisory and legal consultancy services. Prior to joining Thebes, Nora worked as Legal Assistant to the Chairman at the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (2010-2011), Legal Consultant at Trowers and Hamlins, Cairo Office (2008-2010) and as Junior Legal Consultant at Sarwat A. Shahid Law Firm (2005-2007). Nora was also the General Manager of Legal Affairs at Majid al-Futtaim Retail, Egypt (2015-2016) and rejoined Thebes in 2016. Nora simultaneously earned a bachelor's degree in law at Cairo University and political science at the American University in Cairo (2005), and obtained her LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science with special focus on corporate and commercial laws (2008). She is admitted to practice law in Egypt. Arabic is her native language and she is fluent in English.
