Nihan Unal is an Associate at the Hergüner Bilgen Üçer Attorney Partnership and her practise focuses on competition, general corporate, contract and employment law. She assists project teams representing and advising major global and Turkish corporations across a range of industries including food and beverage, management, real estate and manufacturing. Nihan assists with all areas of competition, including merger and acquisition notifications, investigation processes, contract notifications for exemption to the Turkish Competition Authority, compliance programs, as well as giving trainings and advice on legal matters related to competition law. also has experience working with corporate clients on all areas of general corporate law as well as assisting clients with company incorporation, drafting, review, and revising day-to-day business contracts, obtaining work permits, and assistance with employment law matters.

During her LL.B degree, she participated in Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot as a member of merits team. She also participated in ELSA Summer School on Aviation Law & Terrorism.
