Nick is a senior member of the Construction Advisory & Disputes team based in the Dubai office.

He is a qualified Barrister and has previously practised in England at Lincoln's Inn and has diverse experience across construction, commercial, property, insurance, professional negligence, costs and chancery work. He has now been based in the Gulf for over four years advising both Employers and Contractors on large scale international disputes in the construction space.

His recent experience includes: advising on damages claims arising out of a major fire in Dubai; advising an international JV on payment disputes arising out of an Iraqi Oil refinery; advising a large Korean contractor on gas-fired co-generation plant dispute in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; pursuing an application for the appointment of an Emergency Arbitrator and the granting of emergency measures before the ICC in Paris; and advising Chinese clients on construction issues in the Gulf region in relation to Bridges, Roads, Ports and other infrastructure.
