Neşe Nur Yazgan
Senior Competition Advisor, Hergüner Bilgen Üçer Attorney Partnership
Neşe Nur received her B.S. degree in International Relations with a minor in Industrial Economics and Economic Policy from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at Middle East Technical University. She went on to earn her MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2012. In 2021, she completed her Ph.D. in Marketing at the Fox School of Business, Temple University.
Neşe Nur Yazgan is the senior competition advisor at Hergüner Bilgen Üçer. Ms. Yazgan is responsible for handling submissions to the Turkish Competition Authority for approval of mergers and acquisitions and for exemptions for contract notifications. She also provides advice on legal matters related to competition law and economics and helps clients in preliminary and full-fledged investigations.
Ms. Yazgan worked for the Turkish Competition Authority as an antitrust expert & case manager for more than 15 years. During her career at the TCA she worked as head of the supervision and enforcement department (responsible for sectors including pharmaceuticals and health services, chemistry and professional organizations), as the senior associate in the corporate relations and advocacy department, and as chief case manager in numerous cases including several M&A deals, exemption cases, privatizations and investigations.
