Monika is a Senior Associate in the firm's Dubai office and her practice focusses on the shipping, international trade and energy sectors. She advises clients both in relation to contentious and non-contentious matters and her practice.

Since joining the firm, Monika has assisted clients with their commercial disputes in both the English High Court and the UAE Courts as well as different arbitration centres. She also regularly advises shipowners and charterers on charterparties, bills of lading and various other shipping and offshore related contracts and vessel sale and purchase agreements.

In addition to her shipping and energy practice, Monika also deals with matters concerning insurance coverage subject to English law.

Monika regularly contributes articles to the firm's knowledge bank and has co-authored the England and Wales chapter of Getting the Deal Through – Shipping 2017 (9th edition, published in 2016 by Law Business Research Ltd) and Shipping 2018 (10th edition, published in 2017 by Law Business Research Ltd) as well as the UAE chapter of Third Party Funding Law Review (2st edition, published in 2018 by The Law Reviews).
