Mirko Olmos is an associate at AX Law with a broad background in Financial Services Regulation, Fintech, TMT, and Projects. Prior to joining AX Law, Mirko co-led the FinTech & Technology practice at a top-ranked law firm in Bolivia. He was also an active member of the PPP, Banking & Finance, Commercial, M&A, and Dispute Resolution teams.

He is currently dedicated to advising Fintech companies in KSA and UAE, including multiple startups, one of the leading digital banks as well as the leading data connectivity service provider in the KSA, on their day-to-day legal matters, complex technology transactions, and Fintech and regulatory requirements.

Mirko actively contributes to the legal community through writing articles, providing expert analysis, and participating in live webinars on global platforms. His insights are frequently sought after in areas such as TMT regulatory strategy, AML/KYC compliance, data protection, and TMT related commercial agreements. His thought leadership extends to being a panellist in exclusive webinars, such as “The Fintech Race in the GCC,” and contributing to the Legal 500 Comparative Country Guide for Saudi Arabia: FinTech.

Mirko is also a member of the Executive Committee for the MENA region of Global Impact FinTech (GIFT) Forum, a Singapore-based global think tank promoting FinTech, Blockchain and Digital Finance policies.
