Matthew is a banking and finance partner based in the Dubai office. Matthew specialises in all areas of structured cross-border finance, including syndicated lending, acquisition finance, development finance, project finance, asset finance, vendor finance, structured trade and commodity finance and export credit finance. Matthew advises commercial lenders, borrowers and their sponsors, multilateral agencies and other development finance institutions and export credit agencies across all industry sectors, but has particular expertise advising clients in the financial services, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Matthew also provides financial restructuring and insolvency advice, and also has experience acting on the cross-border enforcement of security and other credit support arrangements. He has extensive experience working in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East, having previously worked in London, Moscow, Bahrain and Singapore.
