Maria is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Commercial and Arbitration Departments at Said Al Shahry & Partners (Civil Advocacy Company).

Maria is qualified in the Republic of Cyprus and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She has completed the Module 2 (Law of Arbitration), Module 3 (International Arbitration Practice, Procedure, Drafting and Deciding) and Module 4 (International Award Writing) at the London Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the United Kingdom.

Apart from being a corporate and commercial lawyer, Maria also practices in the Arbitration Department at SASLO. She is involved in a number of arbitration disputes. She frequently advises clients on disputes and is involved in both ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings.
