Dr Kourosh Majdzadeh is a senior legal associate at Dadflamingo, and advises domestic and foreign clients on disputes, corporate, contract and commercial matters, with a specialty in maritime and transport law. He has previously practiced at a number of local law firms for some eight years including a tier-1 law firm ranked by both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners in Tehran. Dr Majdzadeh completed an internship at UNCITRAL in Vienna, where he worked on development of a legal toolkit facilitating accession by member states to the Rotterdam Rules. He has also worked with the Judiciary Institute’s Office of Technical Relations and Cooperation as a research associate. He received his bachelor of laws from University of Tehran, and later received an LLM in International Business and Commercial law and a PhD in Maritime law from the University of Manchester, UK. Dr Majdzadeh is fluent in Farsi and English.
