James is a partner in the corporate and commercial team based in Dubai. He specialises in public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, investment fund establishment and financial regulation. His clients include private equity funds, investment managers, sovereign wealth funds, corporates, financial institutions and state-owned enterprises. James has been based in the MENA region for over six years. He is fluent in English and German.

James qualified as a lawyer in 2001 and joined the firm in 2015. Prior to joining, he worked for other leading international law firms advising on public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations, the establishment of investment funds and financial services regulation.
