George is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Regulatory and Government Advisory practice.

He has fourteen years of experience in dispute resolution, government, and regulatory advisory.

Before joining Hadef & Partners, George served as a judge in Egypt for over a decade, specializing in government contracts, investment, and economic disputes, in addition to being a legal advisor to the Ministries of Industry and Petroleum, where he advised on a wide variety of legal and regulatory matters. George started his career as a corporate lawyer, working for a major financial institution in Egypt. He also worked as a legal consultant at the World Bank in Washington, DC.

George holds an LL.M in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law (NYU) and an LL.M in Business Law from Indiana University, USA. He also received an LL.M in Administrative Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.

George is fluent in English and Arabic. He is qualified in Egypt and New York and is a Solicitor of England and Wales.
