He has experience in working on arbitration matters in Oman and with international institutional arbitration such as International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). His experience with commercial transactions includes working on joint ventures, franchise agreements, investment transactions and shareholding arrangements. Farhan also routinely advises companies in the oil and gas sector and has experience providing outsourced general counsel services to them.

He holds a LL.B., with honours from the University of London and is an alumnus of the Hague Academy of International Law. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
