Dr. Aseel Zimmo, commercial arbitrator, mediator and lawyer and Managing Partner of The First Link, specialises in dispute avoidance and resolution. A member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, she's adept at arbitrating in both institutional and ad hoc settings, issuing awards in Arabic and English. With extensive experience as a commercial mediator, she also serves on arbitration panels including LCIA, SICC, and Oman Arbitration Centre. Formerly senior advisor to Bahrain's Chief Justice and Minister of Justice, she provides expert legal training in negotiation, arbitration, and mediation. Dr. Zimmo holds a PhD from the LSE in international commercial arbitration and an LLM from Kings College, London. She's a qualified lawyer in New York and Jordan, with practice experience in London, New York, and Amman, and a deep understanding of Bahraini law.
