Biography
  • Dr. Ahmed Almutawa is a recognised leading expert in international commercial conciliation and arbitration in the UAE. He is a UAE appointed member to the Panel of Conciliators of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), which is part of and funded by the World Bank; and a certified international arbitrator in numerous arbitration centres.

  • He has published peer-reviewed articles in international legal journals in the field of international commercial arbitration, and articles in both Arabic and English on political and economic affairs. Dr. Almutawa is a prominent national expert in sports, and currently serves as the Secretary-General of the UAE Volleyball Association.
