Catherine focuses her practice on drafting and negotiating engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts, assisting governmental and semi-governmental clients with legislation development projects, as well as advising overseas companies on foreign direct investment laws, local and cross border M&A's, distribution, franchising, agency, and administration procedures that can have an impact on setting up operations in Oman. Catherine also provides advice on various labour law and immigration related issues.

Prior to joining BSA Catherine practised for 5 years at an international law firm based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and in Muscat, Oman, and before moving to the Gulf region, she worked as a legal advisor to private sector companies, providing commercial and international law advice and dealing with contractual negotiations in Poland, Syria and Jordan.
