Burak has over 10 years' experience in advising multinational companies in Turkey with regard to technology, privacy and regulatory as well as contractual issues.

His clients include online gaming companies, telecommunication companies, e-commerce companies and companies in FMCG and Life Sciences sectors. He is the former General Secretary of the Istanbul Bar Association's Data Protection Commission.

He is also a founding board member of the Data Protection Association in Turkey.

Previously he was a Co-Chair of IAPP's KnowledgeNet Istanbul Chapter and served on the Publications Advisory Board of IAPP for two years.
