Brenda is a Senior Associate at ASAR and has extensive experience in in corporate/M&A, venture capital, debt restructuring and aviation. She advises on a broad range of local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, representing clients in processes involved with corporate acquisitions and structuring, and restructuring corporate vehicles for undertaking acquisitions. She routinely advises on venture capital, advising founders on launching companies across emerging industries and investors who invest in early and growth-stage companies. Brenda also advises aircraft owners, arrangers, airlines, asset financiers and lessors on local and cross-border aviation finance and lease transactions including secured lending, pre-delivery financing, operating leases, purchase and sale of multi-aircraft portfolios and sale and leaseback transactions. Brenda holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (First Class Honours) (LLB) awarded by Makerere University Kampala, Uganda in 2006. She also holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) awarded by the University of Oxford, United Kingdom in 2008.
