
Baha'a Armouti
The founding and managing counsel of AL Armouti Law Firm. A Licensed Jordanian Lawyer with over 18 years experience of commercial law practice in Jordan and the region with extensive experience in WTO, Trade Remedies, Intellectual Property, Anti-Trust, and Corporate regulation.
He obtained his experience from different positions he occupied during his career in both the private and public sectors. He started his career with a multinational law firm and then moved to the public domain and served as the legal counsel of the Jordanian WTO Unit. In the year 2001, he became the Director of the National Production Protection (NPPD); the competent authority in Jordan investigating Anti-Dumping, Anti-Subsidies and Safeguards cases, where he served for six years.
During his career as the head of NPPD; he administered eleven trade remedy investigations, and represented the government of Jordan in the related WTO committees and dispute settlement consultations with WTO member countries.
Mr. Armouti spearheaded all aspects of AL Armouti Law Firm since its inception in 2007. He has represented industrial and trading companies in trade remedy and competition cases in Jordan and the region and has provided corporate services to national and multinational companies.
Baha'a received his LLB from the University of Jordan, and his LLM in commercial law from the University of Aberdeen. He is an advanced lecturer and trainer on WTO, trade remedies and competition law and has numerous publications on these areas of laws.
