Asmaa is a Senior Associate in Shahid Law Firm and a member of the Energy transactions and Projects practice group. She has extensive experience in handling several cross-border transactions and has worked on a number of high profile projects. She specializes in mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on power and energy specific transactions, project finance, construction projects, and general corporate and commercial matters.

Prior to joining Shahid Law Firm in 2018, Asmaa worked in the Cairo office of one of the world's largest multinational law firms. She holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from Indiana University School of law-Indianapolis, IUPUI, U.S.A. (2012), and an LL.B. from Ain Shams University in collaboration with Jean Moulin-Lyon III university, Lyon, France (2008).
