Anas Alswailem

Anas has over 20 years’ experience working in Saudi Arabia. He advises public and private clients on corporate, commercial and employment matters. Anas has extensive experience working for several large governmental, semi-governmental, and diplomatic organisations including, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and General Organisation for Social Insurance (GOSI). In addition, he has also participated in drafting major laws and regulations.
Anas graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a Master of Laws degree (LLM) in Commercial Law.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Anas ran his own law firm in Saudi Arabia.

Advising on setting up a local stock company which owns two of the major hospitals in Riyadh.
Advising on restructuring the legal department of a major local telecom company.
Advising on foreign direct investments in Saudi Arabia for European and Asian companies.
Advising a UK-based IT infrastructure consultancy on setting up a subsidiary in Riyadh.
Advising on the legislation drafting of a bylaw in the telecoms sector.
Advising on several employment matters, including recently advising a private local company on an employment competition matter.
Advising a major industrial company on environmental compliance.
