Amal assists international and local brand owners with development and implementation of tailored strategies for trademarks protection in the MENA region. She has experience in IP strategy and enforcement, IP portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting strategic planning, infringement and unfair competition matters.

Amal manages and handles opposition actions, cancellation actions, civil and criminal litigation, administrative enforcement, border seizures, custom actions, online enforcement and domain name disputes.

Prior to joining BSA, Amal gained ten years experience at one of the leading IP firms as an inhouse counsel, where she represented clients on IP related matters across the Middle East and North Africa region, with a focus on trademarks and brand protection.
