Alessandra is a Partner at MAR Law in Oman. Based in Oman since 2008, she routinely advises foreign investors wishing to do business in Oman throughout all stages of proposed investments including structuring advice, joint ventures, acquisitions, establishment of local entities and business set up. She also assists entities tendering for government contracts, particularly in the infrastructure sector on all aspects of public procurement, related formalities and contractual issues. She has worked on numerous local projects in sectors ranging from food security to tourism and real estate, including matters relating to usufruct, legal mortgages, mining concessions and foreign ownership of real estate with a special focus on Integrated Tourism Complexes. She also provides advice and assistance to a number of local tech start-ups from the set up of the business to the investment phase.
