Akram is a Chartered Accountant and tax specialist with more than 19 years' experience. Before joining EDAT, He was providing tax services through audit firms including BDO, EY, KPMG, PwC and TMF Group. Akram has strong academic and professional experience in tax compliance, tax consulting and tax planning. His experience is diversified in various tax areas including but not limited to Income Tax returns, withholding Tax, Stamp duty Tax, GST (VAT) and Payroll Tax. Akram holds a Diploma in International Finance, VAT Compliance Diploma and an MBA degree. He is a Member of the Egypt Society for Taxation, Egypt Association for Accountants and Auditors.
