Circular issued by the General Secretariat of the National Tourism Council on: Instructions on the Accommodation of Guests in Hotel Establishments Operating in the State of Qatar General Secretariat of the National Tourism Council

Reference to item (9) of Article 13 of Qatar Law No. 20/2018 on the Regulation of Tourism, which provides that, instructions issued by the National Tourism Council shall be observed in a joint coordination between the Council and the competent authorities in the State regarding the control of operation in tourism activities and hotel and tourism establishments.

In order to complete the efforts and precautionary measures taken by the State of Qatar to prevent and control the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), in the interest of the protection and safety of guests in hotel establishments and all members of the society, hotel establishments are obligated by the following:

1. Take all the necessary measures to limit the spread of the virus, by applying the following preventive measures.
