Directors of Maritime Tourist Transport Offices and Owners/practitioners of marine tourism transport activity

In reference to Article 3 of Qatar Emiri Decision No. 15/2021 of the year 2021 regarding the establishment of Qatar Tourism, which is charged with enhancing the tourism experience in the State of Qatar and following up on its development in legal and regulatory aspects;

And according to Article 1 of the same law, the tourism transport activity and the related means of

transport designated for transporting tourists on cruises are considered tourism activities.

In reference to Article 2 of Qatar Law No. 20/2018 on the Regulation of Tourism, which provides: "It shall be prohibited to establish, set up, exploit, or manage a hotel or tourism establishment, or a tourist festivals and events organizing agency, or to engage in any tourist activity, festival or tourism event without obtaining a license from Qatar Tourism, in accordance with the provisions of this Law and its

Executive Regulations."
