Dear Owners and General Managers of Hotel Establishments

Referring to Article 3 of Qatar Emiri Decision No. 15/2021 on the establishment of Qatar Tourism, concerning the enhancing of the tourism experience in the State of Qatar, and further its development in legal and regulatory aspects.

Referring to Article 2 of Qatar Law No. 20/2018 on the regulation of tourism, which states: "It is prohibited to establish, exploit, manage a hotel or tourism establishment, tourism festivals and events organising offices, or to engage in any tourist activity, festival or tourism event without authorisation from Qatar Tourism, in accordance with the provisions of this Law and its executive regulations.

Referring to Article (3) of the same law, which states: "License applications shall be submitted to the competent department on the designated form including the required data and accompanied by the supporting documents".
