Subject: Regarding the Plan to Re-Impose Restrictions on Hotel Facilities Due to Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19)

Reference to Article 3 of Qatar Emiri Decree No. 74/2018 of the year 2018 regarding the establishment of the National Tourism Council, which has stated the jurisdiction of the National Tourism Council to work on enhancing the tourist experience in the State and to follow up its development in legal and regulatory aspects;

Reference to Item No. (9) of Article 13 of Qatar Law No. 20/2018 of the year 2018, on the Regulation of Tourism, which has provided for adhering to the instructions issued by the National Tourism Council in joint coordination with the related authorities in the State regarding work controls in the tourism activities, and the hotel and tourism establishments.

In addition to the efforts and precautionary measures taken by the State of Qatar to prevent and limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVI D-19), and to supplement the previous circulars issued by the General Secretariat of the National Tourism Council in this regard.
