Greetings from the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP)

In line with DHP's responsibility for patient safety and its commitment to ensuring the highest quality of healthcare services provided to them, DHP has initiated a project to establish a deﬁnition and scope of practice for all medical specialties. This project aims to provide clear guidelines for physicians with various specialties who are licensed to practice in the state of Qatar to ensure that each physician is aware of their scope of practice and committed to working within it. This will help reduce medical errors and improve the outcomes of healthcare services provided to patients.
