Subject: Dispensing Prescriptions for Remote Doctors

Given the public interest and as a result of the current circumstances that require taking further measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), it has been decided temporarily to accept prescriptions by e-mail to the pharmacy or the patient or by sending the, through the patient's WhasApp, for the medical conditions that do not require the patient to attend clinic personally or for chronic diseases supervised by the specialist doctor, with the exception of narcotic and psychotropic drugs that are subject to the provisions of Qatar Law No. 9/1887 & Qatar Law No. 19/1993.

The prescriptions to be printed and registered and retained in the pharmacy and bring it upon request by inspectors of the Ministry of Public Health.

To act and abide by the above mentioned date until further notice.
