Cessation of Acceptance of CPR Course Registration and Undertaking Letter in Licensing Applications

Greetings from the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP)

The DHP has encountered several cases in which the practitioner did not complete the required cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course/s after obtaining a license by submitting course registration receipt and undertaking letter. Consequently, to ensure t for patients safely, the DHP has decided the following:

CPR course registration receipt and undertaking letter will not be accepted in licensing requests starting from 1st Jan 2024.
All healthcare practitioners should complete and submit certificates of passing all the accredited required CPR courses (from inside or outside Qatar) as per their scope of practice in the licensing requests. applications that do not fulfill this requirement will be rejected, starting from the date mentioned above.
