Updates on the Policy of Approved Specialty Qualifications in the field of Dentistry

“The Registration Department in Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners presents to you its compliments”.

In the Registration Department's pursuit to ensure the highest national standards in health care services by following international standards for academic qualifications and Healthcare practitioner's competencies. A new update on the specialty qualifications in the field of Dentistry has been approved by the Permanent Licensing Committee (PLC) in its 5th meeting, which was held on 22^nd March, 2017

According to these updates – approved by PLC – the following certificates will be added to the list of approved specialty qualifications:

Master of Dental Science form UK or its equivalent, provided that the mentioned certificate should be accredited by General Dental Council, and qualify the applicant to sit for the Royal College Membership/Fellowship exam.
