Advancing its mission to provide quality-learning opportunities for healthcare practitioners in the state of Qatar and to develop strategic international affiliations, Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners – Accreditation Department (QCHP-AD) wants to reveal the following:

1. A "Credit Conversion" agreement with the American Medical Association (AMA) has been signed and is effective on January 1, 2017 until December 31, 2018. The agreement will enable physicians to convert selected QCHP-AD CPD credits gained in Qatar through participation in specified accredited activities by QCHP-AD accredited CME/CPD providers or directly by the QCHP-AD, to their USA equivalent “AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™”. It is to be noted that:

   • Only Category 1 – Accredited Group Learning Activities and accredited knowledge assessment programs and accredited simulation activities under Category 3 –Assessment Activities are included in this agreement.
