Extending the license validity for 6 months with permission to continue practising during this crisis period of the situation of Novel Coronavirus COVID-19

“The Department of Healthcare Professions presents to you its compliments”

In alignment with the Department of Healthcare Professions 'actions to deal with the current situation of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and in its pursuit to avoid interruption of health services in the healthcare sectors in Qatar in addition to insure the availability of the healthcare workforce/providers to promptly manage this crisis, it has been decided that:

  • Extending the validity of the medical license (expired or due for renewal) automatically for 6 months and they can continue practising as usual with no need to apply for renewal through the online system.
