As part of the QCHP pursuit to be aligned with the expansion of the healthcare sector and the variables related to the work experience for healthcare practitioners, and to streamline the process to attract qualified healthcare practitioners without compromising the high quality services. The PLC has approved in its meeting no. (17), for the year 2018 an updated policy in regards to work experience requirement for registration/licensing of healthcare practitioners. This policy highlights the following:

  • Change of the required years of work experience for General Dentists and Pharmacists categories, to 2 years instead of 3 years.
