In alignment with Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners Circular No. 01/2016, Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners Circular No. 11/2018 and Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners Circular No. 19/2020 regarding the registration and licensing of healthcare practitioners of Qatar Universities graduates, Qataris, offspring of Qatari women or offspring of residents* who studied abroad, the Department of Healthcare Professions has decided the following:
To work in governmental/ semi-governmental sectors:
General Practitioners/ General Dentists/ Pharmacists/ Nurses/ Allied Healthcare Practitioners from the above-mentioned categories will be exempted from the required experience when applying for the registration/ licensing provided that they complete an internship period as per educational program requirements.
To work in the private Sector:
