In the Department of Healthcare Professions' pursuit to unify the policies and procedures that maintain consistency and objectivity of the registration/licensing process; and with the aim of ensuring safety and competency of healthcare practitioners working in the state of Qatar; DHP has announced the following:

All overseas physicians who are willing to be licensed in the State of Qatar in a specific scope of practice must fulfill the requirements for getting Specialty title as per attached policy to be eligible for registration and Licensing in the state of Qatar.
Updating the policy of DHP's approved Specialty Qualification List for Physicians. (Attachment 1)
