“The Registration Department in Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners presents to you its compliments”.

In the Registration Department's pursuit to facilitate registration/licensing procedures of healthcare practitioners without compromising the patient safety and the quality of healthcare services; and as per permanent licensing committee's recommendations at its 8^th meeting held on 10^th May 2017, it has been decided to exempt holders of a specialty qualification that is not among the list of approved specialty qualifications by QCHP from the qualifying exam (Prometric) during registration / licensing as general scope dentists, provided that the following criteria is met:

• The minimum study duration of the mentioned qualification should be 2 years.

• The study program should include the required accredited practical hours and clinical training.

• The fulfilment of other requirements for registration/licensing as per QCHP's guidelines.
