“Greetings from the Department of Healthcare Professions”,

In the interest of the Department of Healthcare Professions to comply with the laws and legislations regulating the work of healthcare practitioners in the State of Qatar, and based on Qatar Law No. 5/2001 regarding the registration/licensing fees charged by the Ministry of Public Health; and out of responsibility and financial accountability held by the Department, the following has been decided:

• A fee of 100 QR will be collected on all online applications that require review, assessment or a re-evaluation of the qualifications and certificates of healthcare practitioners. This includes the applications mentioned below:

  • Apply to Add/Change Scope of Practice.

  • Apply for Restoration to the Registry.

  • Apply for Registration Certificate. (For healthcare professionals holding non-clinical roles and retired Qatari healthcare practitioners. This application will be launched in the second quarter of 2022.)

Accordingly, the DHP calls upon all healthcare practitioners and employers to abide by the above, as completion of payment is one of the basic requirements for completing applications.
