'The Department of Healthcare Professions presents to you its compliments'
Based on the endeavour of the Department of Healthcare Professions/ Ministry of Public Health's to apply best practices for visiting doctors (Locum), and the commitment to facilitate the process of health services in alignment with the policies and procedures followed by the DHP, it was decided to exempt visiting (Locum physicians) from providing the CPR certification required to grant and renew the license to practice in the state of Qatar, if the following conditions are met:
This circular applies to healthcare facilities that have DHP's approval for a fully activated Code Blue Team (cardiac pulmonary resuscitation team), which is available 24 hours or during the officials working hours and patient care.
The Locum should not be a resident in the State of Qatar.
