Registration/Licensing Policy for Healthcare Practitioners categories of Qatar Universities' Graduates and Qataris or Residents' offspring / spouses who are graduated abroad
Q: Is it mandatory for healthcare practitioners from Residents' Offspring/Spouses to hold family QID?
A: No. It is not mandatory, valid work QID will be accepted, provided that applicants' parents or Husband or at least one of them is a resident in Qatar.
Q: Is previous work experience equivalent to one year training requirement to obtain a medical license?
A: Yes. One year or more work experience considered as substitute for training requirement.
Note. One year training or previous work experience is not prerequisite for licensing in case the candidates are planning to join HMC, PHCC and Sidra.
Q: Is it obligatory to obtain medical license from home country?
A: In order to consider work experience as substitute for one year training requirement, applicant should have registration/license accompanying his experience.
Q: Are applicants in this category exempted from required training in case of break from practice?
