1 - Definitions
1.1 The terms, words, and phrases used in this Regulation shall have the same meaning as are ascribed to them in the Applicable Regulatory Framework (ARF), including, but not limited to the Qatar Emiri Decision No. 42/2014 establishing the CRA (Emiri Decision), the Qatar Decree-Law No. 34/2006 (Telecommunications Law) amended by the Qatar Law No. 17/2017, the Qatar Decision No. 1/2009 of the Telecommunications Law (By-Law), and the Service Providers’ Licenses (Licenses) unless otherwise expressly defined in this Regulation or the context in which they are used requires otherwise.
1.2 The following terms shall have the following meanings:
Advertisement: any means of bringing a product or service or entity to the attention of Customers, including any branding, marketing or promotional activity.
Advertiser: refers to the person or entity that is responsible for paying for the product or content developed and published as the advertising material or Advertisement.
